What does a winter trip to Bodø with hotel and activities cost?
Our 5-day, 4-night winter packages cost €2,680 for a couple (Arctic Calm), €3,390 for two people (Arctic Adventure) and €5,330 for a family of four (Arctic Family). Flight and lunch are not included.
When is the best time for a winter trip to Bodø?
January through March. All activities are available then and the package prices apply. The northern lights can be seen from September through March.
What is included in the winter packages?
4 nights in a Superior Double at Wood Hotel Bodø, breakfast, dinner on 4 evenings, access to Pool & Wellbeing, the activities in the programme and a private transfer to and from the airport. Flight and lunch are not included.
Can you see the northern lights in Bodø?
Yes. All three packages include an Aurora Hunting tour, where a guide takes you to the best spots. The northern lights are nature and cannot be guaranteed. If the sky is cloudy or the activity is very low, we will reschedule you.
Which package suits a family with children?
Arctic Family is made for 2 adults and 2 children aged 10 or older, with a husky tour, a RIB eagle safari and Aurora Hunting. All four sleep in one Superior Double with extra beds.
Do I need a driving licence for the snowmobile?
Yes, the snowmobile driver needs a driving licence. Passengers don't. You can find more information on the snowmobile tour page.
How do I get from the airport to the hotel?
A private transfer to and from Bodø airport is included in all packages.
